Let’s be honest.

Visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating.

If you are looking to visit for the first time, our goal is to make your first visit to Graymere a great one. We want to help you make a connection with Jesus and his people. Watch the video from our minister, Andrew Phillips, about what to expect. Fill out the form below to schedule a visit if you wish!

What to Expect

What happens when I arrive?

You’ll be welcomed at the door. Our greeters can help you with any questions and guide you to the welcome center for more information, to the auditorium (where we gather for worship) or to a class. You can let us know you’re coming by filling out the short form below.

What is a worship service like?

We will have congregational singing, and you will hear spoken prayers and a lesson that is Bible-centered and applicable to your life. One of the unique things about Graymere is that the music is a cappella. We sing without the use of musical instruments. We love the beauty and joy of worshiping God from our hearts and with our voices. We believe you will find the singing meaningful and uplifting, with everyone being invited to participate. If you want a clearer picture, you can tune in to our services live on YouTube every Sunday morning at 9AM. We stream all of our services and Bible classes in the Main Auditorium.

What should I wear?

There is no dress code. Some of our members dress up, and some dress casually. What’s most important to us is that you are here with us.

What is expected of me?

We hope you’ll participate in the worship service, but don’t feel obligated. You can just observe if that is your choice. We would love for you to hang around after worship so we can welcome you and get to know you! Don’t hesitate to ask any questions or let us know if there is something you’d like to study.

What about my kids?

We have classes for all ages! From our babies in cradle roll, all the way up to college age, we provide a learning experience for our young people every Sunday. We even have a Special Needs ministry just for those who need it - see our Social Story here or get in touch with us about your need so we can be ready for you.

What about communion (the Lord’s Supper)?

Graymere observes a weekly memorial of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross—including unleavened bread (symbolizing the body of Jesus) grape juice (symbolizing the blood of Jesus). You are welcome to participate or quietly observe this celebration of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Will you ask me for money?

At some point during the service, we will have a prayer for our weekly offering. Our guests are not asked to contribute, but members are encouraged to use our Online Giving system.)
