Bible studies are conducted at the Maury County Jail facility by Christians from Graymere.  Each Sunday, men conduct studies with men inmates and women conduct a study with the female inmates.  Singing and prayer typically accompany each study.  The purpose of the ministry is to teach Bible fundamentals with the intent that the gospel message will help the inmates make life changes that will lead them to live Christ centered lives.  Sins have been washed away through baptisms which have occurred within the facility.  The inmates that attend the studies individually choose to attend and are typically anxious to learn what God’s will is for them.  Bible Correspondence courses help the inmates learn between classes.
