Kirk Brothers has accepted an opportunity to join the Freed Hardeman University Bible Department on a full-time basis, effective January 1^st, 2011.  We support Kirk’s desire to teach young men how to prepare themselves to preach the gospel.  With Kirk’s departure at the end of the year, the Graymere Church of Christ is looking for a new pulpit minister to take his place. 

A Preacher Selection Advisory Committee has been formed to aid in the selection of our next pulpit minister.  This group of men is committed to find a minister who will work well with our membership and leadership, and will preach, teach and work faithfully in service to the Lord. 

It will be the primary job of this committee to present a short list of the most highly qualified candidates to our elders for their final decision.  The co-chairmen of this Committee are two of our elders, Dennis Stephen and Fred Porter. 

At this point in the process, we are seeking out qualified applicants and accepting resumes.  Please continue to pray that God will send us the right man for this important position.
