He handles the Wednesday devotionals and announcements. He
supports the congregational mission works and will periodically
make trips to Graymere mission sites such as India or Panama.
He
also visits hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, and members
homes. He frequently writes letters to visitors, newcomers, those
who need encouragement, etc. He writes an article and helps with
general editing on the weekly bulletin. He helps to coordinate
speakers for the summer series and Gospel meetings. He works with
other staff members and the elders in planning the yearly theme,
coordinating the yearly calender, and doing long term planning. He

Areas of Responsibility: Senior Adult Ministry and Personal Evangelism
As an associate minister I teach Bible classes do research, write articles,
create programs, provide monthly newsletter and calendar for senior adult activities.
I work with about 200 family units who make up the senior adult group. We offer
opportunities for these Christians to enjoy fellowship to be encouraged to be happy and to
be of service. They are encouraged to be involved in any and all activities of the
congregation at all age levels that they deem appropriate.
We have monthly devotionals luncheons and programs. We staff a clothing program on
Thursday mornings that gives assistance to about 125 each week. Graymere Grannies
make baby quilts for all first time babies at Graymere. We take short trips and extended
trips to events that are informative educational and inspiring. We also provide
transportation for medical assistance and general support to those with special needs.
In the area of evangelism we seek to inform and educate the membership in evangelism by
classes workshops and training in methods. We explore many avenues to provide entry points
Or those who are not familiar with the gospel of Christ. New Christians are given special
attention through small group discussion class for beginners. See our Free Online Bible Course.
